I volunteered to be a photographer for my friend Reiko, who organized the entire Sakura Matsuri event. Unfortunately we had some very dreary weather and I spent most of the day with a plastic bag around my camera trying to keep dry in the downpour, but there was still some amazing displays of Japanese culture.
